What is Hot Linking?
The term "Hot Linking" is referred to when people "link" to images hosted on your server. Sucking your server dry of bandwidth and resources. The most succeptible sites are Clip-Art/Graphics sites, which contain many images. And width a little handy work with the beatiful ModRewrite engine built into apache, we can block any sites outside of your domain, from linking to your images.
